Eating clean is a lot easier when your cupboards, fridge and freezer are filled with healthy, clean foods. And while oats are the ultimate winter breakfast, eating oatmeal all year round can also keep the body slim and healthy. Try it topped with berries, frozen yogurt or dried fruit.

I don’t always get time to train as much as I want to when I’m working, so my diet plays a huge part in my physique. I try to eat a low-mid carb diet, with plenty of protein and fats and every meal is based around fruit and veg!

I had heard of clean eating but didn’t really know what it was or how to go about cleaning up my diet. It's about eating more of the best and healthiest options in each of the food groups—and eating less of the not-so-healthy ones. That’s a challenge! Thankfully I love whole foods like vegetables, fruits and whole grains, plus healthy proteins and fats but if I’m to embrace this properly, I should cut back on a few more unhealthy fats and sugar. One fave recipe at the moment is roast chicken with sweet potato gremolata salad – I found the recipe online and it’s so quick and easy to prepare…tastes great too!

Clean eating is a very important part of my diet since I’m competing in just under 4 weeks. I eat 4 times daily and 3 of them consists of fish. Having the right clean foods for me is important to clean up ready to compete; obviously, these a lot of protein in my diet to help me to continue to grow whilst burning fat.

Whilst I'm pregnant I want to make sure I'm eating the cleanest possible diet - as well as keeping me healthy and not putting on too much weight, it helps avoid exposing my baby to any harmful substances. Thankfully I'm craving all good stuff, like fruit and veg, and making smoothies with berries and yogurt to satisfy my sweet tooth.
