Eating on the go doesn’t have to mean junk food. There are healthier alternatives if you need a quick, filling and delicious snack, without a side order of guilt.
Try one of these faster health food alternatives;
Swap wraps for a no bread sandwich - you could try substituting bread when making a sandwich with a large lettuce leaf or another green such as kale. Fill it with your favourite cooked meat, replace mayonnaise with some Greek yoghurt – roll the leaf for a quick high protein snack. If you’re looking for something a bit more filling, had some avocado for some healthy calories.
Swap your morning cereal for banana and blueberry pancakes - healthy pancakes are a firm favourite amongst many of our ambassadors as they are full of protein and very easy to make. Mash two bananas, add two eggs and a handful of blueberries. It’s a popular choice to add protein powder and for that extra protein boost you could add ground seeds or nuts. Once mixed together, make your pancakes as normal and add your favourite topping.
Swap unhealthy puddings for protein yoghurt – a lot of flavoured yoghurts are loaded with sugar and added ingredients. It is much healthier to buy Greek yoghurt, and add nuts or fresh fruit and if you want it a little sweeter add some honey as well.
