Jonah Hill is looking great for his new film role
Jonah Hill has been hitting the gym hard recently to prepare himself for a new film role. He is now at his lowest weight since he leaped into the public eye with his much-loved film roles. He had recently put on quite a considerable amount of weight for his role in the films War Dogs. His weight has often fluctuated after he has been asked to either lose or gain weight for certain roles.

Fluctuating weight

For his most recent film role, Jonah had to gain three stone. At his heaviest, Jonah weighed around 18 stone. After Jonah had finished filming 21 jump street he decided he no longer wanted to be the size he was. He turned to his co-star Channing Tatum to help him lose all the weight. When he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon he revealed the advice that Channing gave him. Jonah spoke about how he, "gained weight for this movie War Dogs, and then I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum and said, "Hey if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape? He replied with, "Yes you dumb f**k, of course you will, it's the simplest thing in the entire world" Speaking about his two stone 8-pound weight loss he said, "I wish there was some crazy thing I did, like a pill or a genie or something. But it was unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful for me" Jonah not only wants to lose weight, he also wants to get healthy. He told Vulture that, "Being healthier came along with maturity and it's hard because a lot of times people want you to be the guy you were when they met you." He continued to say, "But all this stuff (points to stomach) is just part of maturing in body and mind" He stated, "I just want to be a good man and to make my family proud. And, you know, I want to live a long time." Good on you Jonah!
